Paint Booth Lighting Upgrade：
I’ve just added LED lighting to my active paint booth, and the brightness is spot on—it looks great.
I was torn between mounting the lights inside or outside. Initially, I leaned towards an internal setup, but that would’ve required extra steps like adding PET bottle covers to keep paint mist off the LEDs. Maintenance seemed like a hassle, so I opted for an external mount instead.
Even with an external setup, you still need to watch out for overspray, but a simple layer of cellophane dust-proofing does the trick. It’s super easy to replace when it gets dirty. As a side benefit, I can also use it as a regular desk lamp.
I’ve been documenting the entire build process of this booth with photos, so I’m actually considering selling the design or kits sometime in the future...

稼働中の塗装ブースですが、照明用LEDを取り付けました。
丁度良い照度で、イイ感じです。
外装式か内装式かで迷いましたが、当初は内装式で考えていました。
その場合、塗料の飛沫が付着しないよう、ペットボトルのカバーを追加したりなど、メンテが面倒そうだったので、外装式としました。
外装式でも飛沫の対策が必要ですが、ホコリ防止用のセロファンシートで軽く覆えば問題なく、取替えも簡単です。
副次的効果として、通常の電気スタンドとしても利用可能です。
塗装ブースについては制作過程も写真に記録しているので、そのうち販売しても良いかなと思ってます・・
