塗装開始（bigining painting）

【まずは英語で解説】

I finally started using my MAX AK-HL1310E compressor, which had been sitting idle since I bought it.
For the painting process, I first applied semi-gloss black as a shadow coat, followed by a thin layer of my custom-mixed dark yellow.
For the next step, I plan to do the main coat using Tamiya’s new Dark Yellow 2, lightened up to account for the scale effect.
The reason I apply a shadow coat is that it clearly adds more depth and dimension.
Previously, I used to spray the base color directly onto the primer, but that often resulted in a flat, "lifeless" finish.
By pre-shading with a shadow color, it’s much easier to emphasize the shadows even after the base coat is applied.

　MAXのコンプレッサー【AK-HL1310E】を導入して放置していたので、運用開始してみました。

塗装の要領ですが、影色のセミグロスブラックを吹いて、オリジナル調色のダークイエローを薄く塗布。
次回は、タミヤの新色であるダークイエロー２をベースに、スケールエフェクトを考慮して明るめに調色したもので本塗装の予定です。

ちなみに影色を付ける意義ですが、明らかに立体感が増します。
従来、サーフェーサーを塗った後に直接基本色を塗っていたものですが、これだとのっぺりした仕上がりとなります。
影色を付けることで、基本色を塗った後の影の強調も比較的やりやすいように思えます。
