下地材にトップコート塗布（apply topcoat to the base primer）

Having finished painting the interior, it's time for the exterior.
First, I sprayed on Tamiya's light gray primer.
Next, I sprayed on a matte topcoat.

The reason for applying two coats of primer is that applying acrylic paint directly over Tamiya primer tends to result in a rough texture.
Although the matte topcoat is advertised as matte, it creates a smooth, glossy finish, making it quite ideal as a base coat for painting.

【日本語で解説】
　車内の塗装を終えたので、次は外部の塗装です。
まずはタミヤのライトグレイのプライマーを吹付けました。
次に、つや消しトップコート剤を吹き付けました。

　何故下地塗装を二層にするのかというと、タミヤのプライマーの上からアクリル塗装を行うと、ザラザラになりがちだからです。
つや消しトップコートはつや消しと謳っていますが、塗布面が滑らかなグロス調となるため、塗装の下地としては割と理想的であると評価しております。
